NAWBO Sacramento Foundation, created in 2003, is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational foundation that seeks to provide opportunities for capacity building and organizational development for emerging and established women entrepreneurs. Through the Foundation, NAWBO Sacramento Valley aims to strengthen the wealth creating capacity of women business owners and to promote economic development within the entrepreneurial


Moreen Lane is the owner and connector for RR Strategies. RR Strategies guides successful collaborative models by engaging diverse stakeholders in developing sustainable metric-based strategies and outcomes that promote social equity and economic prosperity.

Moreen has over four decades of experience working with federal, state and local organizations to build models that balance priorities and agendas from all key constituents at all levels. Her passion is achieving outcomes that drive social equity and contribute to the development of a workforce that supports California’s state & regional economic goals.Prior to starting her own business, Moreen was the California State Deputy Director for ReadyNation, a national non-profit business leader organization working to strengthen business and the economy through better policies for children and youth.

Moreen serves as the Chair, NAWBO Sacramento Valley Foundation, Director – Public Policy, NAWBO California Board, Board President for Team Giving and is a member of the California steering committee for Million Women Mentors California. Previously she served on the boards of the YWCA, Community Services Planning Council, Family Services Agency and was a loaned executive for the United Way Capital Campaign. She is an alumnus of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber’s Leadership Sacramento program.
