Born in Argentina, with her early years spent in Brazil, the United States and Israel, Monica Nainsztein learned the power and importance of language at a very early age. By the time she was ten years old, she had already mastered Spanish, Portuguese and Hebrew. After completing an intensive 3-month immersion course, she jumped into a regular English-speaking classroom, and was recognized for her outstanding progress. Five years later she was so proficient that upon her return to Argentina she started teaching English as a second language. At 21, after teaching at four language academies and even managing one of them, she decided to venture out on her own.
In 1992, Monica founded Executive Languages, teaching English to Fortune 500 executives. Mixing language and business services, she began to see the opportunities for niche translations. Eventually, she returned to the U.S., starting SpanishOne in 2002. With SpanishOne, Monica’s taken her translation services in a very specific and strategic direction. Using her lifetime of global experiences, SpanishOne exists to answer the demands of U.S. businesses competing for a growing population of Hispanic consumers.
With over 16 years of experience as a translator and consultant, Monica has worked with clients such as Arbonne International, Golden1 Credit Union, California Chamber of Commerce, Technicolor, Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Student Friendly Services, California AIDS Research and Education Services (CARES), California State Fair, Yolo Family Service Agency, Cash for College, Community Resource Project, Department of Aging, Entrepreneur’s Source, and SACOG – Sacramento Council of Governments.
