Marina Marr Anderson is the President/Director of Abilene Electric, Inc. Abilene Electric is a Native American Owned electrical company, DBE, WBE, MBE. Abilene was founded by Marina and her husband, Damien in 2003 to serve greater Sacramento and Northern California specializing in private, State and Federal projects.
Abilene Electric promotes a safety culture and has an excellent track record. They have successfully completed projects such as the McClellan AFB Image Upgrade, the WIC Social Services Main & Annex Buildings, Upgrade of the Fairfield Police Deparment, numerous restaurants and elementary school modernizations. Abilene employes a highly qualified staff of certified journeymen electricians and Project Managers and is capable and ready to travel to job sites throughout the United States. The company prides itself on their ability to coordinate with all other trades, architects, engineers and inspectors and embraces the new Cal Green and Green Building innovation.
Marina has over 21 years of experience in business management, marketing, sales and negotiations. She graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelors Degree in Government and was accepted in 2010 into the prestigious EMBA program at Sacramento State. She is currently seeking joint venture opportunities with members of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce and construction organizations in general nationwide.
