The NAWBO Foundation was formed in 2004 as a 501(c) (3) with the purpose of providing and supporting educational programs to assist our women entrepreneurs. Through corporate support, the Foundation has been able to send a recipient to our National NAWBO conventional all expenses paid. This has allowed our member to learn to network more effectively not just locally but also nationally. Invaluable information such as how to market more effectively and how to balance the work and family scenario are just a few things our recipient was able to benefit.

Through corporate sponsorships and fund raising events, an annual Entrepreneur Education event is held not only for our members but for any entrepreneur interested in learning more about how to be a more effective, profitable owner.

The Foundation has been able to send members to a statewide women’s leadership event, sponsor business forums for the local State University – School of Business and other financial/networking events.
