Eva Garcia began Garcia Realty with her husband in 1965. She was the first Hispanic female real estate broker in Sacramento. She began her company because she wanted to have a career that allowed her to be a mother and stay at home with her children. This allowed her to do just that until the 70’s when she expanded to three offices and 80 agents working for her. She decided to scale the business down to only a few loyal producing agents and continued to focus on her property acquisitions. Today she continues to run her business with her two children Rosanna and Franco, but now only has four agents working with her and a crew of contractors.
Eva has built her business by building her property portfolio and continued referrals from past clients and business associates. Her career also has included a seat on the Sacramento City Council, a seat on the Sacramento School Board and many positions on various boards of directors for local non profits. Eva has always given back to her community and feels that this in addition to a disciplined work ethic has contributed to her success. Eva is a founding member of NAWBO Sacramento, has served as President twice and is Past President of NAWBO California.
