Saturday, January 1st, 2011One of NAWBO Sacramento’s primary goals is to give back to the women of our community. While we give in many ways, in 2011 we want to channel our contribution by giving to Opening Doors, Inc. Opening Doors is a local non-profit organization that is dedicated to work with refugees, immigrants and underserved people to develop their social and economic skills, wellness, and personal and financial assets to successfully assimilate into society while respecting their cultural identity and individual goals.educates and empowers homeless women with the skills and the confidence necessary to get a job, create a healthy lifestyle, and regain a home for themselves and their children.
