Business Programs & Tax Incentives

What: NAWBO Dinner Meeting
When: Thursday, September 16th 5:30-7:30pm
Where: Doubletree Hotel Sacramento
Price: $35/members; $45/non-members by September 12th. $10 more thereafter.

This month we will have Paul Tavernia from the SBA discussing SBA programs, woman-owned business incentives, financing and contracting and Christella Sanchez from the IRS discussing tax incentives/breaks, the HIRE act, and other topics of interest to business owners.

Business Certifications

Come find out about the various certifications you can receive for your business from the state and federal governments and other organizations. Learn what the qualifications are for those certifications, how to apply and how you can take advantage of those certifications to grow your business. Hear from other women business owners about their experience getting certified and which ones have worked well for them.

We’re letting our hair down to have a little summer fun! Network and socialize with other NAWBO members and women business owners for a casual, energetic, and FUN evening.

Join us for Margarita’s and Mexican buffet at the home of long-time NAWBO member, Mary Griffin. There’s plenty of room so members, guests, and non-members are all welcome with registration.

As we will need to pre-order our catered Mexican Fajita bar, pre-payment is required. This event is only $15 for registrants by Monday July 11th and $20 thereafter.

Price: $15 if pre-paid by July 11th, $20 after that
