On October 21, 2010 the Sacramento Valley Chapter of NAWBO will celebrate its 13^th annual Outstanding Women Leaders (OWL) Awards Banquet at 6p.m.  This is our signature event of the year and we would like you to join us in support of this event which recognizes women in all sectors and stages in the Sacramento region.

WHO?  Take a few minutes to tell us about her.  Your nomination tells a woman that you believe in what she’s doing.  It gives her a chance to win valuable exposure for her work and her organization. As the Immediate Past-President of our Chapter, it is my duty and pleasure to manage the elections of the 2010-2011 Chapter Officers.  Nominating our Chapter Officers is a critical task that will assist us in continuing to grow our Chapter and build on the relationships we have developed to move us forward.

Pursuant to our by-laws, our elected Chapter Officers include a President, President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer.  This slate of officers is very important to continuing the momentum our Chapter has built over the past couple of years.  Serving in a leadership position is a very rewarding experience.  We need to continue to have very strong leaders to assist the Chapter in continuing our successful endeavors. NAWBO’s Womens Business Conference is coming up on June 10-11 in Washington, D.C. and we are offering one scholarship to one NAWBO-Sacramento Valley member, in good standing, that has never had the opportunity to attend the National Convention.  This opportunity is due to a generous donations from Wells Fargo Bank and our NAWBO Foundation.   Read More
