Successful businesses today are focusing on how to both employ and serve the younger generations. This engaging and informative presentation will provide you with insights regarding Generation X and Y’s communication styles and their expectations of employers and the vendors with whom they do business.

This discussion will be facilitated by Karen Arnold who presents and consults on generational issues to public, private, and nonprofit organizations. She is a Managing Partner of FutureDecisions LLC which focuses on workforce/succession planning, generational issues in the workplace and executive coaching. In addition, Karen is President Elect of the Sacramento Chapter of NAWBO.

Public Policy Summit: Day 2

Join the National Association of Women Business Owners – California in Sacramento and let your voice be heard!

Annually, the leaders of the California chapters meet in Sacramento with California’s legislators about issues that affect our businesses and the California economy. We expect 60+ chapter and community leaders to attend.

This event includes a 4-hour visit to the California Delta region on Monday to learn about the water crisis in the state, hosted by the Metropolitan Water District (MWD), and a four-hour morning conference and luncheon to learn about the many issues impacting business in California on Tuesday, March 24th. The Summit concludes with afternoon visits with legislators at the Capitol building.
