Executive Board Nominations are Open for NAWBO-Sacramento Valley

Thursday, April 14th, 2011

Elections of the 2011-2012 Chapter Officers are now underway.  Nominating our Chapter Officers is a critical task that will assist us in continuing to grow our Chapter and build on the relationships we have developed to move us forward.

Pursuant to our by-laws, our elected Chapter Officers include a President, President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer.  This slate of officers is very important to continuing the momentum our Chapter has built over the past years.  Serving in a leadership position is a very rewarding experience.  We need to continue to have very strong leaders to assist the Chapter in continuing our successful endeavors.

The former President-Elect (2010-2011) and current acting President, Kammy Burleson, automatically fills the role of President in the new 2011-2012 term of office, ensuring a smooth transition.  The current positions to be filled include the President-Elect (this is the person who will become the President in the following year 2011-2012).  The positions of Secretary and Treasurer are also elected positions with a two-year limit on these two positions.
