2012 Philanthropy Partner

Monday, December 12th, 2011

Every year, NAWBO Sacramento selects a local philanthropic organization to partner with to find new ways to give back to women of our community. This past year, we decided to combine the partner selection process with our Outstanding Women Leaders awards. For 2012 and ongoing, we have decided to make the Vision award recipient organization our Philanthropic Partner for the following year.
This year, the OWL award for Vision was awarded to a long-standing support organization, Soroptimist International of Sacramento (S.I.S.). S.I.S. is very active in raising funds for and providing services to activities and organizations which assist “at-risk” women and children in our community and world-wide. Read More
