Join us for our monthly mixer & educational program on February 16th. Meeting starts with appetizers & wine as you mix and mingle with other women business owners. This month our speaker will be Luanne Lawrence Stevenson.

In this session we will focus on how to go from “order taker” to a “trusted partner” in ways that help you, your clients, and colleagues achieve their goals!  You will learn how to create unique partnership agreements focused on your communication preferences, mutual goals and expectations, and how to increase/improve relationship satisfaction and high-end results.  Through powerful partnerships you are ensured greater success in developing and maintaining business relationships now and for life!

Luanne Lawrence Stevenson, Founder of the Workplace Partnership Program®, has over 20 years of experience in management/leadership development and business consulting.  Her clients include: Disney, Charles Schwab, PayPal, Safeway, Cheesecake Factory, Wells Fargo/Wachovia, Union Bank, Chevron, Hewlett Packard, Met Life, Nextel Communications, John Muir Health, Lawrence Berkeley Lab, UC Davis, and the Women’s Initiative for Entrepreneurship.

Luanne serves as a faculty member at American Management Association (AMA), Brandman University, and Las Positas College. She is a recipient of the YMCA Women of the Year, Who’s Who for Professional Business Women, an Officer with Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), American Society for Training and Development (ASTD); member of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

January Meeting

Save the Date!

January’s meeting will be held Thursday, January 20th from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Doubeltree Hotel in Sacramento. Cost is $15 prepaid for members and non-members until January 17th – $18 for members/$20 non-members at the door. Light appetizers and wine will be served.

Meet and mix with your business peers at NAWBO’s mixer. Our meeting will be focused on our chapter’s Philanthropy Partner for 2011.

Joining us will be representatives from our selected philanthropy partner for 2011, Opening Doors, Inc. Debra DeBondt will speak about their organization’s history, impact and place in the Sacramento Community. Members and guests will be encouraged to bring donations of items specified by Opening Doors’ “Wish List.” You may also bring a tax deductible cash donation. We will have donor forms to fill out.
